Champs 2026 | Season’s best for Keyah Anderson as top leader in 1500m

Keyah Anderson of The Queen’s School clocked a season’s best 5:07.00 to lead all qualifiers into the final of the girls’ Class Two 1500m at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls Championships at the National Stadium today.
Other top qualifiers for tomorrow’s final include Kevongaye Fowler of Edwin Allen (5:07.92), Alexia Palmer of Sydney Pagon (5:08.06), Netanya Robinson of Immaculate Conception (5:08.63), and Tabbrel Williams of Alphansus Davis (5:09.76).
Danoya Scott of Convent of Mercy Alpha leads all qualifiers into the girls’ Class Three 1500m final with a time of 4:55.55.
She will be joined by Shannaya Palmer of St Jago (4:56.73), Alex Jordan Hall of Clarendon College (4:59.17), Felicia Compass of Holmwood (5:00.55), Kayanna Douglas of Alphansus Davis (5:03.54), and Althea Bolton of Bellfield (5:04.97).
Meanwhile, the girls’ Class One 1500m will be contested as a straight final tomorrow.
