Heavy rainfall couldn’t dampen the excitement at the Miss Jamaica Eastern Region grand coronation last Saturday night at the Alfred Sangster Auditorium, University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech). Family, friends, sponsors and well-wishers turned out in support as 16 beautiful contestants who vied for the crown. Under the theme ‘The Stars of the East’, the brightest star was 21-year-old UTech student Kalea Roman, who captured the coveted title. Something Extra has the social highlights.
